Areas of work - FamilyKCH have a strong and diverse specialist Family Team. The Family Team have a reputation for their approachability and professionalism. They are committed to providing a high quality of service for their Solicitors and their lay client.
The range of work covered includes all aspects of child law, both public and private law proceedings, all range of financial applications and cohabitee disputes. They are also able to provide expertise in property and trust related matters that fall within the scope of family law/civil litigation. At KCH we remain committed to publically funded work. Their expertise also covers all range of Courts from the Family Proceedings Courts to the High Courts, the Court of Appeal and House of Lords. Within the Family Team there are members who are trained are trained Collaborative Lawyers and Mediators. The Family Team covers a wide geographical area and they are willing to undertake conferences at Solicitors offices by arrangement. The team is assisted by an excellent range of clerks who always ensure that they are never double booked. Solicitors are encouraged to liaise with Counsel to ensure the best preparation of the case and can contact the Counsel instructed by telephone or email. KCH have a recognised commitment for working closely with their Solicitors. The Family Team offer a service of seminars and newsletters in all aspects of Family Law. A suite of rooms is available in Chambers for meetings, mediation and as a training venue [catering is available]. Video conference facilities are also available.
